More Ways to Become a Sponsor

Awards Dinner ($10,000, see Platinum Level)
Friday, August 1st 7–9pm (Timing subject to change)
The awards dinner is the focal point of the UC/CSU/CCC Sustainability Conference with over 30 awards given away to the top schools working on sustainability in the UC and CSU systems. This is the event not to miss, as it is the best food of the conference and attracts high-level administrators within each system to see their campuses awarded.
Keynote Speakers (two opportunities at $5000 - Opening or Closing Plenary)
Friday, August 1st 8:30-10am (Opening Plenary) or
Saturday, August 2nd 11:45am-1pm (Closing Plenary)
The keynote speakers are central to the conference theme of Putting Sustainability to Work - greening the workforce through higher education and greening the workplace for the campus community. Sponsors of these plenary sessions will be thanked as we introduce the speaker and highlighted in a rotating PowerPoint slide which will show as people are seating. We will also highlight the sponsor where this event appears in the schedule.
Opening Mixer and Reception ($5,000)
The opening mixer is the first major event of the conference. Participants will enjoy wine, beer and snacks as they explore the exhibitor show. Table tents at the bar will highlight the sponsor’s logo as well as a poster at the main entrance thanking the sponsor of the event. We will also highlight the sponsor where this event appears in the schedule.
Coffee Breaks ($4,000)
Sponsored coffee breaks will have table tents displaying the company logo along the buffet and a poster thanking the company and highlighting the company logo at the entrance to the break area. We will also highlight the sponsor where this event appears in the schedule.
Tote Bags with company logo (Donation of 1,000 tote bags)
Ensure that all conference participants leave with a stylish bag with your company logo on it. These tote bags will be pre-stuffed with the on-site program and additional information that conference participants receive upon arrival. You may also include additional literature in the conference tote advertising your company as long as the information is not printed on glossy material and is made out of recycled content. We also ask that you do not include any non-usable giveaways in the conference tote bags and that the tote bags themselves are made of 100% recycled content material in the US.
Mugs with company logo (Donation of 1,000 mugs with logo)
All conference participants will be handed a mug at check-in to be used throughout the conference and kept post conference for further use. This mug may have your company logo on it as a reminder to conference participants of your generous donation to the conference. The mugs themselves must be made of 100% recycled content material and in the US.
Student Scholarships (Variable)
Help train and inspire our youth to become leaders in the sustainability movement. This conference brings in approximately 250 students from around the state, many of which continue on to pursue careers in sustainability and environmental management and/or engineering. Prior to graduating these students take the skills and motivation from the conference and apply it to pushing their campuses to go green. Sponsors of student scholarships will be highlighted in the program, given all the benefits of the sponsorship level they give at and thanked at all student-oriented activities.
Cash Donations (Variable)
Give at any level to support the education, resource sharing, and peer-to-peer network of UC/CSU/CCC systems. Your financial gifts help to bring the best possible venue to the largest audience engaged in our campus communities.
In-Kind Donations (Variable)
Donate items that will offset conference expenses. Examples include some food and beverage items (farm produce, snacks, beer, wine, non-alcoholic drinks), raffle prizes, and more. Contact the conference organizers for more information on specific needs for the event.
