CSU Sustainability Summit

How does the future look for the CSU’s 23 campuses? How can each of the stakeholders on campus work together to be better stewards of the environment? This summit’s goal is to facilitate the dialogue between each of the participants in higher education and brainstorm on ideas of how to better incorporate sustainability throughout the whole campus. We will also have presentations featuring the successful integration of sustainability within a campus.

This summit is open to all CSU faculty, students, and staff. Lunch will be provided.
(Funding for this event is provided by the CSU Office of the Chancellor.)

Energy Design Resources (EDR) Summit 2008 - Updated!

With support from the four major California utilities, the goal of this Energy Design Resources (EDR) summit is to broaden energy efficiency and sustainability efforts among educators and students at the university level across the state of California. The meeting will present the opportunity for discussion and information sharing among members of the academic community to increase awareness, foster collaboration, and brainstorm opportunities, which encourage energy efficiency and sustainability in education. A new EDR program will be announced for funding educator/student projects in these areas.

EDR is administered by Pacific Gas and Electric Company, Sacramento Municipal Utility District, San Diego Gas & Electric, Southern California Edison, and Southern California Gas under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission.
